Supporting Collaboration
Our experience shows us that collaboration is a choice. We collaborate when diverse perspectives at a common table are needed to find and implement solutions that no one group could achieve alone.
However, working together can be challenging, inefficient, and confusing. Our services are designed to help collaboration work.
Collaborative Process and Governance Design
-
We design collaborative processes and governance structures that help diverse organizations work effectively together. Our approach balances thoughtful planning with adaptability, considering each party’s needs, capacity, existing relationships, and shared goals. We provide guidance on collaborative readiness and support the co-development of scope, decision-making protocols, governance structures, and enabling agreements—all tailored to create successful multi-party initiatives that deliver meaningful collective impact.
Facilitation and Workshop Delivery
-
Bringing together diverse voices requires skilled facilitation. We create open, respectful spaces that support trust, clarity, decisions, and meaningful action. In collaboration with partners, we co-develop effective online and in-person meetings and workshops, ensuring delivery is flexible and responsive to evolving needs.
Our facilitation and workshop services are designed as a comprehensive, end-to-end process—from co-designing agendas and coordinating event logistics, to guiding conversations, analyzing and communicating outcomes, and conducting post-workshop reviews. While we believe this integrated approach delivers the strongest results, clients can also choose individual services based on their needs.
Project Management
-
As an impartial third party we provide dedicated project management to foster collective ownership. This supports parties in navigating political dynamics and organizational capacity constraints. Our role includes overseeing timelines, deliverables, coordinating meetings, managing contractors, and reporting.
Strategic Planning
-
Strategic planning is a structured process to analyze the current situation, identify desired future outcomes, and create a roadmap to bridge that gap. We apply our collaborative process design, facilitation, and workshop delivery services to support strategic planning in a variety of contexts, including multi- party policy and internal organizational strategy.
Species Rebuilding Planning
-
Increasingly, conservation crises require informed and coordinated strategic action that brings together those with jurisdiction, responsibility, and expertise. We have built technical experience developing collaborative rebuilding plans for salmon populations across BC and the Yukon with First Nations, Crown governments, and stakeholders.
