Visit the Wildlife
Sightings Database to learn about and report recent wildlife sightings
in the Region.
System requirements for using the Map
Atlas:
• Internet Explorer 5 or better. The system will not run on Mac,
sorry, we are working on this.
• first-time users of the Map Atlas will need to download the
free Autodesk
MapGuide Viewer. This applet is safe to download and
uses minimal system resources.
• when using a Windows Platform, and Internet Explorer browser,
select the ActiveX Control version of the plug-in.
Search Tips: Users can
enhance their search results by these methods:
"OR" search:
Vancouver Island (displays results that have either Vancouver or Island)
"And" search:
+Vancouver +Island (displays results that have both words)
"Exact phrase"
search: "Vancouver Island" (displays results with exact phrase)
"Not" search:
Vancouver -Island (displays results with Vancouver that do not have
the word island)
