Pacific Geoduck
The largest burrowing clam in the world, with shells up to 23cm (9") in length. Their siphons can extend up to 1 meter enabling them to burrow deep to escape predators. Some geoducks have lived over 140 years. Geoducks are harvested commercially along the BC coast.
